I have recently been diagnosed with an autoimmune disorder, which is quite debilitating. I became symptomatic weeks after moving into a new home. We have black furniture with gold trim in the bedroom. Could this be part of the cause?

Hi,
Well, the problems you have seems to be from either some lacking in elements in your Pillars chart which is why you got such sickness.
And it could also be increased with the association of certain unfavourable elements which you should avoid or the house in which you stay in also contain sickness (2/5 stars) which may worsen the problem.
Generally black funitures represents water element. It will be bad to you if you are a strong water, weak Fire, weak Metal person etc.
Basically, at this stage where I do not have much details (eg. true birth element, house chart etc) from you nor any analysis of your home etc. It is difficult to advice you or help you identify the problem.
Warmest Regards
Robert Lee
