Posted February 24, 200124 yr I have been studying TCM and recenly got interested in fengshui. I have red in many books (that a stove should not be close to the sink, as water will clash with the fire element). Now, 3 months ago I installed a fish tank in the southern sector of my living room. About a month ago my whole family had fallen sick which in TCM is classified as a damp heat imbalance. (My son and I had got a lot of cough and hot pleghm, my wife got bladder infection with blood in urine). Can someone tell me if this just a coincidence, or the setup (aquarium- water element installed in the southern sector of the living room-fire elemnt) made us to contract damp heat Thanks, Slavek
Posted February 26, 200124 yr Staff Dear Slawek,1. Usually, a more acurate analysis is to use the Flying Star analysis.2. Based on Flying Star numerology, do look out for #2 sickness and #5 misfortune nos.3. It is my belief that the South sector has an imbalance and it could also be the result of bad wood #3 and the addition of water element i.e. fish tank that could create such an imbalance.4. To sound `less complicated'; since your family members are now sick; it is best to drain off the water or remove the fish tank as soon as possible.Certainly, there is indeed an imbalance at that sector.Warmest Regards,Cecil Quote On 2/24/01 4:14:00 PM, Anonymous wrote:I have been studying TCM andrecenly got interested infengshui.I have red in many books (thata stove should not be close tothesink, as water will clash withthe fire element). Now, 3 months ago I installeda fish tank in the southernsector ofmy living room.
