Posted March 19, 200124 yr sets and stereo equipment in wood cabinets. They cannot be moved, as there is no where else they will fit, and that is where the outlets are. I also have two metal framed mirrors over one of the t.v.s, I put them there because my NE sectors are stairs. Any suggestions, could I use water pictures or plants to counter the metal? Thanks for any suggestions.Shelly
Posted March 21, 200124 yr Staff Dear Shelly,Sorry, I don't understand here why you must counter the Metal. Even if you are say a weak wood, it is not necessary to be so specific and get rid of all Metal objects. You will need a little of all elements in your life (good or bad elements). What you need is to balance everything else. This means that for example if you are a weak wood. Then simply enhance yourself by wearing more Water based element colour that will help offset the balance. If you are refering to East bing Wood element direction or influence, and that the Metal will disturb it, I think you have nothing to worry as the objects when compared to directional influence, is of no great importance or threat as it occupies a small area in the room. Not necessary to counter everything. In what you have mentioned below, I personally do not see why you need to move the sets away. Usually when we do something in Feng Shui it is for a specific purpose. However, normally cures are placed in such a way it will be sufficient to create a balance without having to remove the problem at all. Everything should be able to co-exist together with a little of what I call a "binding" element.I think before you do anything, you must really know what and why you are doing it.Hope that helps.Warmest RegardsRobert Lee Quote On 3/19/01 9:34:00 AM, Anonymous wrote:sets and stereo equipment inwood cabinets.
