Posted March 30, 200124 yr Hi, I am a pre-medical student in at UCDavis. My grades have not been great. Is there any advice you can give me regarding feng shui? Perhaps, do something to my bedroom? or the area where I usually study in the library? I know that I have the potential to do well and I like the topics taught, but whenever I sit down to study, I just don't feel motivated. I need any kind of advice. Thanks. Hoang
Posted March 31, 200124 yr Staff Dear Hoang,Frankly, Feng Shui does not have all the answers to having good grades. There are many other factors involved such as your personal interest in your studies and more crucial, your `study' techniques and concentration. Personally, I find having a group of regular friends to `work with' or provide encouragement to. But it may differ in your medical studies. -- Give some thought.Since you are a student, you should continue to find a location that you really find comfortable in e.g. your studies or assignments. In the bedroom, when you really need to rest make the room conducive to a good night's rest. Usually thru the play of lighting and curtains.Sometimes, you may seriously consider having a fixed table in your bedroom to study in the day.Wishing you all the best in your studies...My advise is that try your best to adopt the best approach in studies that will suite you.I personally feel that, having good grades may include, taking interest in the course and at the same time, constant review / understanding of the course materials and in many instances, taking the approach i.e. using questions e.g. such as in past year papers also.Warmest Regards,Cecil Quote On 3/30/01 5:29:00 PM, Anonymous wrote:Hi, I am a pre-medical student inat UCDavis.
