My small studio apartment front door on the east side is in Helpful People. One problem is that the bathroom with sink drain, tub drain, and toilet are all in Wealth corner of apartment. There is one window on the west wall over the toilet...and a closable door between bathroom and kitchen in Fame/Partnership. I do leave this door open during daylight for light and ventilation into the rest of the apartment.
At present there is a blue tile strip, and I have a large green fake plant in the bathroom (in Partnership corner from bathroom door), and some red and purple items. The tub drain is in wealth corner, sink drain in Knowledge, and toilet in Helpful People. I close the window, the toilet seat, and the bathroom door whenever water is going down the drains. Both drains have rubber stoppers in place when not in use.

Dear Honz,
1. Frankly in my opinion, it is very difficult to apply `corner' theory such as the feel that a sector or corner is the `Helpful People' or `Fame/Partnership' sector etc..
2. If we fully analysise `corner/sector' " Feng Shui ", it looks like all areas need to be enhanced.
3. One has to becareful of such a theory because, we end up trying to `decorate' seems like all areas of the home.
4. There is really not much one can do, if a toilet is not in a good position other than to comfort ourselves by either closing the toilet door, making it more bright / dry and some go to the extend of covering the toilet bowl each time when it is not in use.
5. For a small studio apartment, usually, it is much harder to apply "interior" Feng Shui concepts even if we use such things as `corner' FS.
When we have a small apartment, every corner we `meet' ends up as `problem' areas.
6. For a small apartment, I feel that what is more important is:
6.1 to neutralise any threats if any towards the frontage or windows of the home.
6.2 generally, such apartments should be cosy and not overly cluttered.
6.3 to best harmonise the house, one can look at one's element and strength and then relook at the home.
For example, the ba zi of the person can be further understood and related to the house i.e. a weak wood person, would perhaps, try to use the five elements concept and apply elements such as water and wood. Or to further enhance one's self. Such as clothings.
