What does "flat number" mean? I live in Nebraska, USA and am not certain how to utilize that report.

Dear Suzanne,
A `flat' refers to the British language term that is equivalent to "an apartment or even condominium.
Therefore, a flat number refers to the apartment's number e.g. #17-04 etc...
