I live in an apartment building which as a whole sitting on East facing West. But my unit's main entrance is geological Southwest section or corner and this unit is sitting on North. My personal trigram is Chen and I thought my apartment is also a Chen according to the positin of the Main entrance. Is my aprtment a Chen or Kan?
And which door - Main entrance (west) or main door of my unit (SW) do I need to consider for calculation?

Dear MD,
Based on your unit, you should find the centrepoint of the unit.
And from this centrepoint (standing at the centrepoint) use a compass to `aim' at the main entrance.
Please follow the method used here:-

The above should help you to properly determine whether it is Chen or Kan.
