Hello,
After finding out that a wind chime can cause bad dreams I am wondering if there is something in my house that could be causing a family member depression and confusion? Thanks in advance.

Lets have the person's DOB details and what sector of the house they sleep in e.g. N.,S, etc.etc. Are they the main breadwinner,if so, what direction does the main door face.
Of course there are many other factors that can cause depression, not just matters relating to Feng Shui.

His date of birth is Nov. 23rd 1958. He was born in
Rome N.Y. We own our own business where the two of
us both work equally.
Our main door faces,NE. The head of our bed is up
against the NE wall. The house has some different
angles to it and this wall that our bed is upgainst is
NE but more N then E.

According to this, am I correct to say that your head is in NE direction?
Basically his Eight House seems alright. However, without the Flying Star
reports, it is difficult to tell if there are any unfavourable stars such as
star 2, 5 (Sickness / Misfortune Star) in that sector of your house. Or any
stars which actually further strengthen or weaken your husband's elements.
These influences often are the cause of any adverse effects experienced by
many people.
Based on his Pillars of Destiny, I recommend that if you do have any wood or
water related items, please removed them, especially for his personal stuff.
Suggested element is "Fire" type object.
Is there any sharp objects in the room which you can visually see? If there
are try to block it.

It appears from your info that the NE sector is in an auspicious energy sector for the person concerned. A brief Pillars of Destiny chart reveals that he is of the Wood element and bear in mind, in the cycle of destruction, metal destroys wood. Do you have objects of metal in your house and do you have many windchimes ? Perhaps you could look and ascertain if this is the case.
This person appears to do well financially and has a great intensity of feelings. I also believe he lacks energy.
If you go to the Report Management section and do an Eight House Report and Pillars of Destiny it may give you some guidance.
Has this person had any counselling for this problem ? Feng Shui can be of assistance but it is not a cure all.

location.
Here, make sure that thre are not many trees outside the NE main entrance
area or at the South-West (Devil's back door area).
Where possible to counter the YIN environment, you should `increase' or add
more Yang into the location.

has seen a therapist and is on medication. You were
right, he is a very sensitive man, and yes he lacks
energy.
