I just read some topics about feng shui. It is not very common method here in Slovakia, but I am very interested in it. The question is, wheter I will be able to apply Feng Shui principles with SOME effect in my 1-room flat or not. I live in this small flat with my girlfriend, that 1 room is our living room, bedroom, workroom for 2 people. Kitchen, bathroom and toilette are separate. Also I have I smal storage room as wardrobe. We are going to reaccomodate it, so we would like toplan it with some Feng Shui tips and principles, so we can make Cchi energy flow accurately.

In my opinion, for a 1 room flat/apartment; usually, it would depend greatly on the `larger' building and site.
In my opinion, since this is a 1 room flat, one may not get a `Quantum Leap' in Feng Shui by `applying' FS principles here. This is because many of the concepts of Compass School may not be easily applied as the area is pretty small.
Here, one important point which I feel is that if one cannot achieve a `Quantum Leap' in Feng Shui, the `returns' in using FS may not be that effective i.e. it is like spending $1.00 to get back only $0.80 cents or less or even if we can get back a small profit of `$1.01 cents is this good enough.
For, small apartments, it is best to apply the wider scope of Feng Shui i.e. the Yin and Yang concept .. i.e. keep the room bright and .. clear space is good.
