our house has the main entrance door facing south, all houses around us have triangular roofs. The hall has a very large window allowing a lot of sunlight to enter the house.
We are now going to redecorate the entrance/hall and I'd like to know what colours could be favourable (in order to avoid too much fire energy).

I'd just like to ask you one more thing. Our bedroom is just above the garage (which is seldom used as such), and also in the south.
Can you suggest what colours ?

Dear Veronique,
1. Although, further investigations may be required e.g. such as looking at the birth chart using say Flying Star.
2. However, under Shapes and Form Feng Shui observation, a good colour would be white or off-white or shades of white. Which represents the metal element. Try to avoid pink/purple or red or shades of this colour.
3. If blue colour is ever used here -- this has carefully evaluated especially under Para 1. Blue can go both ways - i.e. it can either be used to " create " wealth or alternatively be a double edged sword i.e. like hot and cold (blue vs red). Much investigation may be required if this colour is used.
4. Alternative colours can be used e.g. lily white - is OK.
