Posted March 3, 200223 yr Staff Dear "Seeker",1. In my opinion, it is best not to place a waterfall picture especially on the main door. Nor is it good to place it at a wall close to the main entrance.2. In the living room; in particular, when we open the main entrance door, and the surrounding area should have `clear space'. 3. Usually, a painting of waterfall has both elements e.g. a hill/mountain where the water falls `down'. And it is because of the hill/mountain symbolism that may be of concern. A painting, of such nature could perhaps, be interpreted as placing a `mountain' at our front door and symbolises placing an obstruction at our front door.4. Therefore, I personally feel that, try not to do so as it (this painting) is usually inappropriate here.5. Acceptable paintings are:-- 9 koi painting or 9 - 9 koi painting.- Some businessmen like to place the 9 horses painting where the horses face the main door. This painting has a total of 9 + 9 kois.If one looks carefully, there are 9 kois x 2 kois facing each other.In Chinese symbolism, 9 represents longevity. Posted March 4, 200223 yr Dear Mr. Lee,Thanks for your prompt reply.I think I should have given the details.The mai n door faces East92 degrees and has the combination 257.I tried putting up a 5 rod metal chime here to combat the triple 5s collecting here, but it has resulted in fierce quarrels.So i brought it down and things quietened immediately.Now another cure would be to put lots of wood or water here to combat the Earth, am I correct till here? Hence the question about the waterfall picture. But now Iam glad that I asked you before putting it up.(.The main door faces a wall when we enter the house)Please advise about the next course of action.The FS show 7 as WS at the entrance ,so would building a water feature here activate the 7 and at the same time make the 2 fall into it.Please advise.There has been continuous illness and fights in the house since it was bought.Thanking you very much.With regards.

(Period it was built - Period 7?)Is the house rectangular in shape or otherwise. If you have a layout, perhaps, you can scan it in.
