My bedroom faces South in the Southeast corner of my home. According to my 8-House chart, these are the Disaster and Death corners, respectively.
What, if anything, can I do to offset this imbalance?

Dear Anon,
1. In my opinion, there is not much one can do if the `Eight House' chart is unsuitable for a person. Unless, one moves out of the room or find a new house -- assuming a worst case senario.
2. But more importantly, no matter how, the bedroom should always (top-priority) conform to good Shapes and Form Feng Shui. I have given many examples of this in previous messages.
3. For example, where possible, the bed should not rest on the same wall as the bedroom door. Where possible, it should be on the opposite wall as the bedroom door.
4. Usually, to further reduce or minimize on problems, it would be helpful for those who wnat to further improve their Feng Shui to apply e.g. Flying Star Feng Shui. This will help to look at the birth chart of a house and through proper cures, help neutralise any imbalances. Thus improving the house Feng Shui. Flying Star Feng Shui in such a situation is considered as a `active' form of assistance or help.
Contrast this to good Shapes and Forms, in particular a `solid' or good Shapes and Forms of the external environment, site and land / where the building /house sits.
