My front door is facing directly the kitchen door and also the service balcony entrance. I'm living in a 4 room HDB Flat. As renovation will be costly, can i hang beads at the kitchen entrance as a cure?.

So long as there is no direct path of `air' from the main entrance to the back, then this is not an issue.
Yes a set of beads can be hung at the kitchen entrance. Usually, it should be full height or at least cover three-quarters of the length of the location it is placed at.
