My boss is interested in purchasing a home but she was told that it has very bad "chi" and not to buy it because of the placement of the master bedroom. Aren't there objects and placements she can use to change the chi to be more favourable? If so, would you please give me a few examples that may help?

Dear Malia,
1. There are some examples of bedroom layouts under this url:
http://www.geomancy.net/resources/theories/fs-bedroom.htm
2. `Uncurable or fatal situations' are (for example):-
2.1 a bedroom directly below a toilet.
2.2 Bed-heads should preferably rest along a support wall. There should not be a situation where there are windows all round a bedroom.
2.3 it is preferred not to have beams over the bed (can be curable thou).
2.4 Windows above the bed - can still be curable.
So far, I can think of some of the above situations may make the bedroom less favorable.
3. Many bedrooms have attached bathrooms. And although this may not be ideal, but it can be `curable'. A sloping roof has not been proven to be that bad...
Warmest Regards,
Cecil
