Dear Cecil,
You wrote "when we purchase a home, a FS Master would normally also ask who were the
previous owners especially if the house has been built for quite some time". Could
you please explain the reason in regard with FS? Thanks in advance.

Dear Wasis,
If one is purchasing an existing home, it is always good to learn more about the history of the house.
For example, if there is only one previous owner, (no tenants) simply, the owners are staying in the apartment, it is best to find out the purpose for their move.
If it is a `valid' reason, for example, they are moving because of relocation of work in another county or to upgrade their home. Particularly, if it is for upgrading, this is a good `sign'.
If a house was built e.g. in the 1950s or earlier, it is good to check it's history of occupants. For any situations e.g. suicide, murder etc...
I hope the above clarifies. If not, feel free to let me know.
Warmest Regards,
Cecil
