I am in the stage of building a house at the moment, I know that number os steps for the stair is very important as well, but the builder only draw 16 steps instead of 17 steps, the builder do not alter the drawing. Is there anything else I can do for this. Please help, thank you for your assistant.

Can I confirm that there is a stair's landing and that this is included in the count of the number of steps?
How wide is the staircase landing.
