Could someone please tell me what a dreamcatcher is? What is it used for? Where would it be placed? Why in a car?
Thank you for any assistance you can provide.

Dear Anon,
This is not a Chinese concept (Most probably of US, native American Indian origins).
Overall, it is a circular ring usually 5 inches in dimension. And uses beads and strings around it. Much like a web.
It is suppose to be placed or hung above one's bed or home. It is suppose to sift thru one's dreams and visions.
It is said that good dreams are retained in this so called web of life while the bad dreams slip away thru the centre hole.
Warmest Regards,
Cecil

A Dreamcatcher is the Native American way to guard dreams. It gathers bad dreams during the nightime hours to be cleared away the next morning at sunrise. It is usually placed in the bedroom above your bed. Most people use it n childrens rooms to protect them from bad dreams during the night. As for having a small one in the car, it may have to do with dreams involving a car accident that they don't wat to have anymore or we just think it looks neat up their by the mirror.
