If a building is narrow at the frontage (main entrance area) and the back is broader,
an inverted U can be used to `catch' or symbolically neutralise this deficiency.
This is particularly useful, or a good situation is where plants can be lined up in this `u' shaped trout along the parimeter (less plants along the frontage) of course.
