Hi Cecil,
There are 2 areas I can activate mountain star in my house. One is at the back of the house and another is somewhere near the entrance though.
Since I am quite unsure about the one at the bomb shelter which is near the entrance, I have attached a layout for your advice.
Can I put the object at the false wall built to cover up the bomb shelter door? Or more silly question....inside the bomb shelter against the solid wall? Or totally should forget about this location as it is not advisable at all.

Please see attached illustration with the best location for activating a mountain star.
For info,
1. a mountain star must not be activated at the front door.
2. a mountain star is ineffective if it is placed on a shelf next to a window.

Dear November,
Based strictly on Shapes and Forms Feng Shui, it is a much better idea to have the screen partition at location marked `A' instead of at present location.
This is to make the living room and dining room into a more rectangular shaped layout.
