Cure for propersity area - water drying up

I am newbie at fengshui been reading up on Black Hat Sect fengshui. According to the book, the prosperity corner is on the upper left of the bagua. I run into a section which I'm not sure how to resolve.
I share a rented apartment with a few friends. I overlay the bagua ignoring the kitchen. Of worry is the prosperity corner of the place. We hang our clothes there and in the balcony to dry. Although not mentioned in the book, this rings of bad fengshui - water drying up. Also there is a mirror sliding door facing the propersity area that is connected to my room.
The first instinct is to move the clothes rack but I can't as the place is shared. Besides there is no other space for the cloth racks. Are there any cures you can recommend that does not need too much restructing?
