Posted October 17, 200222 yr Hello Cecil,You mentioned that "If the painting has too many birds, avoid placing it at the dining area." I remember reading this somewhere but it did not register in my mind until I read your article yesterday. Next to my dining table, I have a 2.5'x2.5' painting where 10 small cranes are resting by a forest stream. What are the implications? Should I take it down immediately? I didn't know that it is taboo, so where can I place this?Thank you for your help.Best Regards, soonhoe
Posted October 17, 200222 yr Staff Dear Soon Hoe,Yes, in my opinion, it is best not to place a painting with many birds facing the dining table. This is symbollic of too many mouths to feed. Even if they are cranes.Warmest Regards,Cecil Quote On 10/17/2002 10:34:00 AM, Anonymous wrote:Hello Cecil,You mentioned that "If thepainting has too many birds, avoid placing it at the diningarea."
