Direction of stove

Hi Cecil,
I want to know which direction is the stove facing. When I am cooking, I face west. Does this mean that the stove is facing east? I am building my home and I want my stove to face east. Is this the right way to know whether I am facing the right direction? I am confused. Please help.

Dear Anon,
Yes, imagine standing as the stove. The direction the stove faces is the direction it is facing.
Thus if the stove is exactly located at WEST, it is facing EAST. This is in-line with your understanding.
