I will be moving into a new office in my suite next week. The door is in the NE corner. If I were to place my desk in the SW corner of the office and face the door, my back would be to a double sided window.
Is there some way to remedy having my back to a window, or is there another place that would be suitable for a desk in an office with a NE door and a SW window?
Thanks so much,
Lisa

Dear Lisa,
1. Yes, it is very common to find such a situation in high rise office buildings.
2. Do you have a back (side) cabinet. If you do have a row of cabinet behind your desk; this would be advantages.
3. As this is symbolic of a mountain behind you. On top of this back cabinet, you can also place e.g. a simple paper weight e.g. made of brass or even a crystal.
4. If the back also has blinds, it is best to draw it closed also.
Note: The only caution is if a specific set of windows has been earmarked with a red triangle; which is meant for fireman's access, then, one cannot place any of the above at the location.
Warmest Regards,
Cecil
