Dear Master Lee,
Need your advice on career.
I am wondering if it is favourable
for people (guy) who born in April 1970
to change the job this year. Because
of the "Tai Sui" factor, I am not sure
if it is better to stay in the current
situation and remain unchanged.
I have been working with the current
SME / company for almost 7 years.
Please advise. Thanks.
Regards,
K

Dear Mr Chin,
In my opinion, it is best to look at career change from a strategic point of view. first.
Today, in Singapore, especially if a person is around 35 and close to 40 or more, it is quite risky to change job nowadays. Since, employers may prefer to hire younger workers.
It is best to discuss this option with your immediate family members. Often, it is safer under this present bad economic downturn to `ren' or be extremely patient.
Warmest Regards,
Cecil
