Updates! Software updates & SSL Sitewide Testing!

1. SERVER SOFTWARE UPDATE

We apologise if some users had encountered some difficulties using our website today.
We were updating some of our server software today which required the server to be resetted a few times.
Anyway, this is completed, and the server is running on latest version of the various software which means faster and performance due to improvement to the software.
2. TESTING AND ENABLING SSL
===========================
We had renewed and updated our SSL certificate for our payment gateway early this month (Feb). Since then we have been preparing to allow the same high security encryption used in encrypting our payment gateway (from www.versign.com), to be used throughout our website.
Some areas we intend to make use of these SSL encryption are like the Public website / Member Area / Forum.
At this time, the Free Advice Forum, is configured to work with SSL encryption.
Though, nearly all areas can use SSL, the only problem about SSL mode is that if there are some graphic links or external scripts which are not called in SSL mode, there will be warning alerts by your web browser. Thus, it will probably take some time for us to update those links to be accessable both in non-SSL and SSL mode.
For Free Advice Forum, you will noticed that we have enabled a link "Access this forum securely with SSL encryption".
It will probably be a while we enable some areas to automatically use SSL mode.
But this will be one of the major enhancements to our website in the coming months.
