Unproportionate 9-sectors grid

Dear Master Lee
I have located the centre of my flat and using compass bearings, divided it into the respective pie sectors. But when I convert this into the 9-sector grid, the bottom sectors - NE, N and NW - are smaller than the rest. I have attached the floor plan.
What have I done wrong?
