Need your urgent advice on the following:
1. My resale flat built in 1972, HDB did some upgrading,adding a exact room after the kitchen area, between 2001-2002. I did some renovation when I move in in 2002. Which period should my house be in now.
2. Understand it is no good to do any renovation at the southwest for this year so as not to anger the Duke.
a) My main door facing the southwest, I noticed some hole, 30cm by 30cm, on the floor toward the right. I used some white cerment to cover it, is it going to bring me bad luck? I am worried.
b) My air-con happen to be situated on the oppose of the Duke position. If I ask the aircon man to clean and service the aircon, mean drain the dirty water and so on. Would it bring bad luck to me.

In matter what, your home is still a Period 7 apartment. Period 7 spans between 1984 to 2003.
Therefore, even if there are several renovations or major renovations done e.g. in 2001, 2002 or even this year; your apartment will still be a Period 7 apartment/house.

Where possible try not to do any work at South South-Weat or 210 degrees. If this is at true compass direction South-West, then it is still ok.
If you have a compass, try to locate the centerpoint of your home. Stand there and confirm that the location is not South South-West 210 degrees.

No, this is minor and no issue. Unless, you need to remove the aircon unit mounted on the wall, drill new holes say to mount a new air-con.
Otherwise, often, this is no issue.
