The report generated from the house number shows that the house that i just bought is in period 6 ( 1st built in 1978), But i will be renovating this year, in this case is the house consider period 6 or 7 ?

If it is a major renovation, your house would change it's birth chart. And Period 7, seems a sensible idea.
