I have read that number 4 is unlucky, I have just purchased a unit which is number 4, with the street number as 4 and I also discovered that the lot number is 4, does this add up to triple bad luck? If so do you have any remedies I could use.

In my opinion, numerology is very diverse - and subject to so many interpretations.
For example, for some, number 13 is an unlucky number. But for others, it is ok.
If one is in Hong Kong or Guandong China; then one may meet up lots of Cantonese dialect group. Here, the spoken phonetic word for number 4 literally translated as `die'.
But if you are in Singapore, most likely, this is less of an issue, since the majority dialect group is made up mostly of Hokkiens who come from Fujian Provience in China.
In fact, I have come across so many Singaporeans that has house number 4 or 44 or 444. Car number plates with 4444 etc.. and even phone numbers with such numbers; yet, statistically, there is no issue in this.
More important what matters most in Feng Shui is : Location, location, location and location.

P.S. Personally, I feel that amongst all the dialect groups in Singapore; although I am a hokkien myself, I do find the hokkiens are less superstitious and more flexible when it comes to such things.
