Hi,
I would like to know if there are any guidelines we should consider in planning our wedding invitation. Is there any recommended size, color, wording?
Thank you very much,
Vanessa

Dear Vanessa,
CONGRATULATIONS!
1. Frankly, this has more to do with beliefs (Chinese beliefs) than Feng Shui.
2. In the past, it is common to see the frontage of a wedding card with the circular Phoenix and Dragon motif on pink coloured paper.
3. A sample is as shown under Geomancy.net's picture resources:-
http://www.geomancy.net/mypictures/cgi-bin/mypictures.cgi?action=view&link=Celebrations_And_Festivals/Chinese_Weddings/invitation_cards&image=wedding-f2.gif&img=0&search=wedding&cat=all&tt=&bool=and
4. This is where the Phoenix is suppose to represent the dragon represents the male gender with the `double happiness' motif at the bottom of the card.
5. Nowadays, `modern' couples usually prefer the `western' designed wedding cards. Or simple modern designs.
6. But where possible, no matter what, it is best to still have the `double' happiness word on a wedding card:-

Otherwise, these are not really Feng Shui.
Warmest Regards,
Cecil
