Yes, this is considered as a `threat' to the `mouth' (main entrance) of the home.
Given this situation: Taiwanese Feng Shui often suggests the use of plant(s).
But if this is not possible, see if one can apply the concept: " if it cannot be seen, it can no longer be a threat".
The next is the "terroist link" option: Get Bin Laden to help demolish the threat. *JOKE*
As a last resort, one may have to consider the placement of a ba gua mirror above the main entrance doo.
