Posted December 24, 200321 yr Dear Master,Should we take the TOP (temporary occupation permit)date as the date a property is being constructed?Or shall we take the date the building blocks are beingerected in the condo project?Eg. I can see my condo blocks already erected, but theTOP date will be late 2004 or early 2005. Our period ischanging from Period 7 to 8 in early 2004. So which periodis my condo in??Thanks.Regards,Sean
Posted December 24, 200321 yr Staff Dear Sean,1. It is highly unlikely that your apartment falls under Period 7.2. This is because your unit itself; does not have the necessary fittings to `qualify' as a built under Period 7 home. For the following major reasons:-On the interior of your home============================2.1 Most likely, the entire flooring e.g. floor tiles has not been laid.2.2 Most certainly; the main door has been fixed to the apartment. Since these two activities have not been completed; it is quite `clear-cut' that if you are to apply the Flying Star Feng Shui; you should apply Period 8 to your new home.Important: Has the roof/roof tile being completed?==================================================3. In addition, the most important consideration is also the roof of your building. As you had mentioned, each block is still under construction. And thus, the roof (roof and roof tile - has yet to be completed). Para 3 - is the clearest indication that your new apartment block should (definitely) be considered as a Period 8 apartment.Warmest Regards,Cecil Quote On 12/24/2003 6:45:40 AM, Anonymous wrote:Dear Master,Should we takethe TOP (temporary occupationpermit)date as the date aproperty is beingconstructed?
