Posted January 8, 200421 yr I have a north south aligned house. I plan to renovate this year is convert it to a period 8 house. My main door is generally in the south sector on the luopan grid.I understand that there are 3 subsectors within each major sector. And using your fabulour calculator, I found that if my new main door is in the 2nd or 3rd subsector, I will have double 8 in the south sector, with a base number 3.This sounds absolutely great & I'm all excited about this. However, how do I ensure that the main door falls within the 2nd or 3rd sub-sectors? Is it the direction that the main door faces? Or do I draw a pakua from the centre of the house and divide up the south sector into 3 slices?By the way, to share with other users, if my main door falls in the 1st sub-sector, the double 8 will land in the North sector. That's what i got using your fabulous calculator.I think it's the direction of my new main door. Can you please confirm my understanding? Thanks a million.
