Posted January 23, 200421 yr Staff Dear Tess,Frankly, since the railway tracks are very close, it would seem that it will be part of your daily lives. It is not like closing one's eyes and wishing it away. Perhaps, the sound or vibration would be there. One may have to get used to it.The only consolation is to see where possible, if additional sound proofing could be used e.g. closing the side of windows facing the tracks or insulation or curtains, to reduce the noise. This may sound too advanced, but nowadays, work is going on into "noise cancellations - devices" that may neutralise it.Warmest Regards,Cecil Quote On 1/22/2004 5:48:27 AM, Anonymous wrote:Our house is closely oppositea railway tracks.
