Posted January 23, 200421 yr I have a question regarding which Chinese calendar year a friend of mine was born in. In my research I have found that the year 1976 is the Year of the Dragon. But my friend was born on 1/22/76, which was still technically within the Year of the Rabbit, and the Year of the Dragon did not start until 1/31/76. I am wondering if her birthday falls in the Year of the Dragon or in the Year of the Rabbit? I am want to buy her a birthday gift associated with the year she was born, and I am want to make sure I have the correct Chinese calendar year. (Her birthday just happens to fall on the Chinese New Year this year).I certainly hope someone could help me with this. This is the first site I have found that has a message board.
