Sit Facing Southwest

I understand that for this year, it is best not to sit facing Southwest since the Grand Duke is located there.
However, if in my working place, I have no choice but to sit facing the Southwest direction, what can I do to remedy this situation? My kua is considered 8 (actually 5, but for female, it should be read as 8).
