Posted April 3, 200421 yr Dear Sir,I am living in a condo on the 11th floor. There are 4 blocks of apartments in this property development. The main entrance to the condo compound is facing East. After taking the compass reading, the main door of my apartment unit faces North. Should I say my house is sitting south and facing north (thus a North house) or should I follow the main entrance and say my house is sitting west and facing east (thus a East house)?Thanking you ahead. Rich
Posted April 13, 200421 yr Staff Dear Rich,For apartment above high floor, it is common that you should take the frontage of your home based on where most light comes into the house. This is often the living room balcony. So stand at your balcony and measure the compass direction and whatever that results. That is where your house frontage will be. Hope that helps.Warmest RegardsRobert Lee Quote On 4/3/2004 8:23:46 AM, Anonymous wrote:Dear Sir,I am living in acondo on the 11th floor. Thereare 4 blocks of apartments inthis property development.
