Posted May 18, 200421 yr Staff Dear Alice,No, the colours does not matter nor the background. What is more important are;1. The number of fishes. Often, it is 8 or 9 fishes.2. What is most important is to look at the fishes. They should look graceful, not exactly plump but has a nice profile; (I hope you get what I mean) i.e. they should not look thin or skinny or undernourished. They should seem to swim and look "nice".Warmest Regards,Cecil Quote On 5/18/2004 9:25:07 PM, Anonymous wrote:Does it really matter if thecolours of my 9 koi fishpainting are made up of moregreenish background (water),white koi fish with red, orange, yellow, etc patches onthem and green water grasses?
