Posted September 1, 200421 yr Dear Master Cecil,I live in a terrace hse. There is a lamp post on the right frontof my house (outside the fencing) and its light is facing the road. Will this has any bad effect to my house. Besides this, my opposite neighbour has planted a tree (medium size) whichis facing the right side (front) of my house. Will this affect our house feng shui?Thank you.
Posted September 4, 200421 yr Staff Dear Anon, More importantly, the consideration should be, for instance, either standing inside the home, such as at the main entrance or sliding doors, while looking out of the home. If one stands inside, for example, at the main entrance looking out and can see a lamp post or a tree, then this is regarded as sha qi, as it can penetrate into the home. However, if there is a solid wall (within the house) where the lamp post is located, then this is generally not considered sha qi. Planting plants that have a relatively dense cluster of foliage would be beneficial if the lamp post is directly visible when standing at the main door or sliding doors, etc. Warmest Regards, Cecil Quote On 9/1/2004 1:36:09 AM, Anonymous wrote: Dear Master Cecil, I live in a terrace hse. August 30Aug 30 Staff Dear Cecil, Trust you are well. Open the main door and gaze at a palm tree. Should we consider cutting down the palm tree? Thank you. The Palm Tree aimed towards home's front door Yes the easiest solution is to make it disappear. - Cecil Lee
August 30Aug 30 Staff Front Doors of both photos are not affected by the palm tree trunk +++ This front door is also not affected by the palm tree trunk A narrow margin... since it is near the side frame of the front door. Thus, it can be regarded as unaffected by Sha Qi or the Poison arrow from the trunk of the palm tree. Credit: Asked Meta AI to help me imagine these three images.
