I would like to know by doing house painting in the month of Octorber (9th lunar month - which is the ancestor month. Is it the best to avoid painting the house?

Dear Sophia,

In my opinion, it is acceptable to paint in the 9th lunar month. Some, however do select an auspicious date to start reno (repainting).
