I am removing 4 80' trees that are in (SW) direct line with the front walk way of my home. I am painting the outside a golden yellow and having the decks repainted as well. I also have a skylight in the ceiling that looks up at the starsin my master bathroom. Does this turn my house into a period 8? It is a period 7 now. I am curious.

Dear Amy,

No, removing the trees (external) does not change the Flying star qi.

However, this year, the Grand Duke of Jupiter is at compass degree SSW. And removing the tree(s) at SW may not be a responsible thing to do. Given that one should not distrub the Grand Duke at his present location.
