Hello Master Cecil,
Recently there have been some lift upgrading going on in some older flats.
A new lift was built, and the lift is facing in front of our house door.
Is it ok?
What are some ways to counter if there is negative issues?
Thanks.
Regards,
Sharon

Dear Sharon,

Generally, when there are two doors facing each door, it is said that there will be more quarrels between the two occupants. Especially if they are extremely close to each other.

In your case a life door, though it isn't a house, but you will have lot of people enter in and out of the lift and if it faces your home, in a non-feng shui point of view there will be some lack of privacy.

If the lift is a distance away shouldn't be much of an issue to worry about. Otherwise, best thing you may do is to keep the door close when not entering in and out of the house.

Hope that helps.

Warmest Regards
