Posted February 7, 200520 yr Staff Dear Anon,Hanging a hulu is symbolic in nature thus brass, wood or marble are acceptable with either red or metallic looking string. The only difference is the mark-up or price to line the pocket of the seller. The saying goes, it does not matter if the hulu is made entirely of good quality jade or completely made of 999.99 percent gold etc... Here, it is only a matter of paying $$$$.
