Another sign of my lack of exposure is evident by my ignorance to evaluate the power of a malignant Star vs. the cure we apply. In brief, Wu lu or calabashes in different locations to reverse #2 Star, and a 6 rod chime...are they effectivc to neutralize the sha chi from this Star?. Or a chiming clock, water fountain, salt and other metal protective items that are advertised on the web for #5Star. How powerful can we expect these cures to be?.

I know that one's personal Ba Ziand Four Pillars help or worsen the effect of these stars accordingly.

Any comments would be appreciated.

Dear J Seco,

When looking at a sector, one must not only look at just one star # but all three: Mountain #; Water # and Base (Palace) # numbers.

Usually the cures for #2 is to neutralise it with simple things like 6 coins (big metal) or hulu or both.

Another category star #5 or a combination of #5 with #5; #5 with #9 etc...would need constant metal to destroy it. And or the introduction of wood (green plants) to crush it.

Thus, the most common constant metal are the use of wind chimes and a "tick-tock" clock such as an old grandfather chime clock. Usually these two objects can be readily purchased outside of the domain of Feng Shui shops or emporiums. Salt cure or salt neutralisation belongs to this second category and also can be bought outside of Feng Shui shops.
