Yes, so far, I have seen many people who had placed a micro-wave next to the refridgerator and even opposite it.

If one sees the productive cycle flow of the five elements, metal supports water, this is a productive cycle. Thus no issue.

It is not like water destroys fire under the destructive cycle flow. Which is often considered not auspicious.
