I am very worried as I have kitchen and stove at northwest of my house. This is very bad as all of us know . Unforturnately with deep consideration of the layout of the kitchen and house, there is no way to re-locate the kitchen and stove. Anyone can give me advice what to do? Please dont' ask me to move house. Not possible too. There are different advices given to me wihtout explanation and confuses me.

Suggestion 1 : Place water urn at least 18" X 12" in the kitchen.

Suggestion 2 : Place pottery and plenty of metal cookingware in the kitchen and remove the water urn in 1.

Suggestion 3 : Increase metal and earth element in the kitchen.

So which is the right one?

Dear Anon,

In my opinion, usually, suggestion 2 and 3 are a better solution than suggestion 1. This is because actual water is harder to maintain e.g. algae growth and it could be a hive of baterial growth if water is not changed frequently.

And furthermore, since the kitchen is a balance of "hot" (fire) and "cold" (water) such a water urn could also create an imbalance at that sector.
