From the research I have done it seems I may have what is called a 'black stream' flowing under my propery/home. How do i balance this.

Frankly, these probably has to do with the way underground water has over your home. Similiar to this link:-

The only true way to not be influenced by it, is frankly to move out to a better location without this issue. Because, if not if you continue to live in such a homes, health will be affected in a matter of time.

Any solutions/items if any will only be slowing down the influence, not completely removing the negative influence from such a problem. These are not true solutions for such a homes. They can maybe only help reduce some of the negative influence but not completely eliminate it. Some items that may help would be like those Plasma Air Cleaner which can help to reduce firstly bacteria etc.

Since some of these underground water, tends to make like food spoil faster etc, thus such products which help slow down the bacteria may offer some help. However, in the long run, my advise is to move out to a better location. That will be the only true way to solve this issue completely.
