We have just finished building our dream house, actually its a loghouse so the problem is we have big beams over our beds and in the living room area, also we have a big log postsupporting the secondfloorareain the middle of the living room. And also in our bedroom we haveclosets with mirror. What shall we do. I know all of these is not good when it comes to fengshui. Thank you in advance for the help.

In terms of beams, ideally it is best not to be able to see it if possible.

So usually, two most efficient ways to go about it is to either have a false ceiling which will hide the beams. Or to have a bed with those canopy beds which you can place like curtain or cover on top. That should help you shield the beams from your view when you are sleeping on the bed. These two are two more practical ways rather than having to place two flutes on the beam.

For this, it all depends on how comfortable are you with the mirrors. This is because generally the ideal behind this is that it is said that when we sleep our spirit will leave our bodies. So when you have a mirror, what might happen is that your spirit might get a shock when it sees itself on the mirror.

However, this boils down to how tolerant you are. There are some spirits for example who will see a mirror, comb his/her hair, adjust the clothes before he/she leaves. So once you more or less understand the reason behind the inauspicious influence. You can then know how bad it really is.

As long as the mirror does not bounce Qi from a window located opposite from a mirror, I think that it should not be a great deal of problem. In addition, if you feel comfortable with the mirrors, then should not be a problem at all.
