Posted June 15, 200520 yr Under your fengshui tips, I spotted the information about sloping wall being inauspicious. The picture file shown is similar to the flat that I had purchased. The walls of the study room and another bedroom have sloping walls. If I have built in cabinets to make the walls straight, does it help? What would be a better option in order not to spend so much on carpentry work?I look forward to your advice.Thank you.

If I have built in cabinets to make the walls straight, does it help?Yes, sloping walls tend to create additional poison arrow, so not very good in feng shui perspective. In feng shui, as long as you can no longer see the threat, it no longer becomes an issue. So by building a cabinet to hide the slope will be one way to resolve this sha qi. The other way is if your ceiling is very high, a false ceiling is also another away to conceal such sloping walls or any beams. These are usually the most effective solution, as once you are not able to see the threat it no longer becomes an issues. As to which is more cost effective, you will probably have to check out the various quotes for the work necessary.Hope that helps.Warmest RegardsRobert LeeGEOMANCY.NET - Center for Applied Feng Shui Research
