I started my new house renovation on 03/05/05 after refering to the Chinese calendar that it is a good date.

However , things did not seem to go well. First there is the tile out of stock for the wet kitchen and I have to select other tiles. Then I have difficulty in finding a matching wall tile border. When I do find a matching one at the tile showroom and ordered , when the tile was delivered to my house it was of a slightly different colour which is not matching. Then the dry kitchen tile is also out-of-stock and I have to spent additional RM800 to change to other tiles. Now , the cooker hob that I ordered in Jan 2005 , the sales people forgot to key into the system and that too is out-of-stock.

Since the renovation process is not smooth , are all this bad signs ? Anything I can do to improve the situation ? By the way , I am 8 months pregnant. Pls advise.

One should always know that a Chinese Calendar (Tung Shu) as what most people come to call it is generally a date that is good or bad for most people. It does not personalise to each indvidual, so a date might be generall good, but it does not mean it will be particularly good for everyone. Each person has individual suitability so, some people may not be suitable for certain dates.

One thing so far is that your pregnant. Frankly, it is not advisable for you to get involved in your renovation during your pregnancy. This is often inauspicious. You should let some other family oversee your renovation on your behalf. Shouldn't be personally involved.

Another possibility, is hopefully you did not offend the Tai Sui (either by your year of birth or by having renovation work disturb the grand duke). If so, generally you should just have a simple prayer to just like seek forgiveness.

Usually, these two are possible answer for your situation.

Hope that helps.

Warmest Regards
